Meet Bartolomeo – a talented, sweet, and highly rideable 5-year-old dressage gelding with an exceptionally good temperament and a promising future in the sport.

Bartolomeo has already had an impressive first competition season. His major achievements this year include a 1st place in the 5-year-old class at CDI Pärnu on the first day, a 2nd place in the 5-year-old class on the second day, and a 1st place at the National Championships for 5-year-olds. Additionally, he has achieved numerous top placings in local competitions, mostly victories, including at A-level.

What makes Bartolomeo special is his fantastic temperament and exceptional work ethic. For a young horse, he is remarkably calm, confident, and adaptable. He feels right at home in new environments very quickly and is not spooky, making him a pleasure to take to competitions. In the ring, he demonstrates excellent relaxation and obedience to the rider's aids, while remaining attentive and willing to work.

He is equally easy and pleasant to handle in the stable. Bartolomeo is super calm, friendly to everyone, and straightforward in every aspect of daily care. He has no issues with the farrier, clipping, veterinary treatments, or transport. Furthermore, he can stand alone and travel alone, which makes him particularly practical as a young competition horse.

Under saddle, Bartolomeo is not hot or overly sensitive, yet he remains attentive and reactive enough to make him very easy to ride. He has a forgiving nature and is not easily upset by rider errors. This makes him a very fine partner for both riders looking to develop their skills and more experienced competitive riders.

His current training level is A, and he is currently being prepared for L-level, with exercises such as shoulder-in and leg yielding. Additionally, he shows natural talent for flying changes and is a very quick learner, giving him significant potential to progress through the levels.

Bartolomeo only started working under saddle more intensively at the beginning of 2026 and is currently trained by an experienced rider. He has been used exclusively for dressage and dressage competitions, ensuring a focused and promising start to his sporting career.

With a height of approximately 165 cm, Bartolomeo is also a highly attractive option for smaller riders looking for a quality young dressage horse with a manageable size.
